Asbestos Surveys, Inspections, and Risk Assessment

Asbestos surveys and inspections are designed to locate asbestos containing materials and determine whether the asbestos may pose a hazard. A visual assessment is performed to determine the presence of suspect materials as well as their conditions and locations. Samples are then collected for analysis by an independent laboratory. CNS Environmental only uses laboratories that participate in the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).

Asbestos surveys can be tailored to the needs of the client, whether they are planning a real property transfer or planning renovation, remodeling or demolition projects.

Operation and Maintenance Programs

When asbestos containing materials are identified in a building, removal is not always the only option. CNS Environmental works with property owners and managers to develop asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Programs to help control their liability by reducing environmental risks to employees or building occupants. Plans can be tailored to meet the specific safety and budgetary requirements of individual sites.
